Mrs. Essie Mae Love Harville, age 71 of Glenwood, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, August 24, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, after an brief illness.
Essie was born July 15, 1950, in Oak Park, GA to the late Joseph and Euarlee Johnson Love. She worked as a seamstress for Oxford Industries for many years. Mrs. Essie had many hobbies that she enjoyed such as gardening, reading, baking and cooking, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with all of her grandchildren.
Mrs. Essie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Harris Gene Harville; both parents, and several siblings.
Mrs. Essie is survived by one son, Daniel (Kim) Harville of Glenwood; three daughters, Valerie (Tony) Sarratori of New York, Allison (Greg) Ledford of Glenwood, Diana Sowell of Augusta; eight grandchildren, Erica Gilder, Nick Clark, Shiffon Rogers, Nicole Sarratori, Clarissa Ledford, Paul Ledford, Kaylee Harville, and Ashton Sowell; six great-grandchildren, Harley Hampton, Lane Stokes, Greyson Stokes, Rochelle Rogers, Laken Stokes, and Breleigh Rogers. One brother and several sisters also survive.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Snowhill Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor B.L. Horne officiating. The family will gather at 12:00PM on Saturday at the cemetery for visitation with family and friends.
The family will be gathering at the home of Allison Ledford, 831 Stuckey Baptist Church Rd. Glenwood.
