Mrs. Geneva Phillips Van Fleet, age 78, of Soperton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, September 18, 2021. She was surrounded by her family at her residence. Geneva delighted herself as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and left her impact on many lives. As a homemaker, she raised four children and served 21 years as a Girl Scout Leader (Troop 526) in Miami, Florida. Her late husband was a youth minister and together they were involved in local church ministry where she served as a Sunday School teacher and opened her home for countless youth group activities. In 2003, life took Geneva back to Soperton where she was born. She loved her family deeply and served them the best she knew how. She was outgoing, fun, and most importantly a follower of Jesus. She will be missed by all who knew her.
