Mrs. Janice Adams Coleman, age 76, of Glenwood, died Saturday afternoon, February 6, 2021 at Dodge County Hospital of Eastman after a brief illness. Janice was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County and retired from Wheeler County Board of Education after working many years with Ailey Manufacturing. She was a member of Glenwood First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Coleman in 1999.
She is survived by one son, Matthew Coleman (Misty) of Glenwood; one daughter, Donna Jones (Danny) of Alamo; and one sister, Linda Jarrell (Walter) of Glenwood. Five grandchildren, Reagan, Reilly, Braylee, Andee Grace, and Broxton also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Adams Coleman will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Glenwood First Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Hammons and Reverend Walter Jarrell officiating. Interment will follow at Edge Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
